following resolution was offered by Councilperson __DuBois____ who moved
its adoption, seconded by Councilperson __Bacon_____, to wit:
IN OPPOSITION
TO THE PRE-EMPTIVE ATTACK ON ANY NATION BY THE ARMED FORCES OF THE UNITED
STATES
IN OPPOSITION
TO THE PRE-EMPTIVE ATTACK ON ANY NATION BY THE ARMED FORCES OF THE UNITED
STATES
RESOLVED, that the town council of the town of New Paltz is opposed in principle to the pre-emptive attack on any nation by the United States of America.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the town council of the town of New Paltz communicate these views to its honorable representatives in the United States Congress, Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton, Senator Charles Schumer, Representative Maurice Hinchey, and the President of the United States.
